We liked 2.5" lcd screen size on Samsung Digimax A55W quite better than 2" lcd screen size at Canon PowerShot S3 IS.
Canon PowerShot S3 IS has 6Mpix and Samsung Digimax A55W has 5Mpix. It means that Canon PowerShot S3 IS is able to produce pictures with more details (better quality).
Optical zoom at Canon PowerShot S3 IS is better (12x) than at Canon PowerShot S3 IS (4.8x).
